Nice, finally the upgrade to Windows 11 is available for my laptop. Upgrading. I
was looking forward to all the enhancements in this new refresh of Windows. Fingers crossed, the upgrade experience is as seamless as was for
the recent macOS upgrade.

I am backing up the opml to
a git repository and starting fresh each month. This is inspired by
this monthly ritual by Dave Winer. This is a first test -- getting rid of all October entries from the blog.opml file.
Update: It worked, all the October posts are still rendered as expected on the home page and also on the archive page.

- I recently upgraded by PC to Windows 11. This is an running pool of my thoughts as I use this platform. It's not going to be short, and it's not going to be done in a day.#
- First login experience, it's very different. Many things are changed. You know its Windows beneath, but only because I am used to the platform now.#
- I hate the Taskbar, it's too thick for my liking. I have set it to auto-hide, it's that bad. #
- This platform looks to be tailored for the larger displays -- for example, this would look so great on iMac-style display. But on a smaller display, like my 14" laptop, this looks worse than what Windows 10 did.#
- I like the set of quick actions in the Ribbon in Explorer. They are all useful most of the time. The options look to be built post user research. Thumbs up!#
