Dave has released
a new version of his PublicFolder app that addresses
a use case that I had. When I wrote that post, I wasn't use that my use case was something that the app wanted to handle. I am glad that Dave thought it did. I can use the app again now.

- I have heard this adage many times now. It also gets attributed to many people. But it doesn't matter who said it first. I have come to realise that, with software, shipping it is the only way to improve it.#
- Get the feedback from users. They may like it, or they may not. But at least you would know what they do like and what they don't. I see there are two ways to go about it. You may spend months on perfecting a feature that a user may not even care about. Or you may spend a week to work on it and put it out there to know what the user thinks. It will save you time and a heartburn later.#
- This is applicable to ideas to. It is better to bounce your ideas through a few folks you trust and get their inputs. May be what you think as most unique may be ridden with flaws. It makes no sense to go through months of implementation only to find the flaws later.#
- Early feedback is the best feedback, the only one that's useful.#
